In my experience every time I have a client charged with battery on an officer/resisting arrest/obstruction its what you get charged with when the police beat the shit out of you and then make it your fault after the fact.

Just saying it again, if you ever find yourself charged with a crime and your attorney refers to you as “the defendant” you should get a new attorney.

I had a phone appointment with a client who is in jail right now and he put my uncle on the phone who is also in jail right now.
