HEROES CON! Headsketch-a-mania part 2. THE BATMAN WHO LAUGHS & THE HUMAN BOMB (from Freedom Fighters) & the SCARECROW. The Harley sketch cover was cool; the frame she’s carrying was the blank space to draw on.

HEROES CON! Head-sketch-a-mania part one. SWAMP THING & HULK & HAWKMAN ( full mask version). Did a lot of head sketches at the show.

HEROES CON! SPECTER and HOLOCAUST. 9x12 full figure B&W commissions.

HOURMAN! HEROES CON 9x12 color full figure. Had my choice of several JSA characters. I picked Hourman based on the idea I had for the background.

The Daily Sketch: End of another sketch book!

The Daily Sketch: CHARLIE BROWN as BATMAN; and SNOOPY as ROBIN! Only time for a quick one today as I’m getting ready to go to HEROES CON tomorrow. I think I’m gonna do another series with PEANUTS characters, this time as BAT-characters. You know LUCY has to be POISON IVY.

The Daily Sketch: CYCLOPS! Did a similar shot a ways back in B&W. Wanted to try it with some color.

The Daily Sketch: THOR & LOKI! Haven’t done a cartoony warmup sketch in a while. It’s fun to exercise that muscle.

The Daily Sketch: ANT-MAN vs ?? Just being silly today. I think the fist looks a little HULK-ish.

HYPNO HUSTLER!! 11x17 commission for pickup at HEROES CON. The collector loves the weird Spider-Man villains. This guy was a lot of fun to draw.

The Daily Sketch: CARDIAC! One of the suggestions I didn’t use for the blue marker bleed problem. I’ve never even heard of him, but when I looked him up, he had such a weird costume, which I thought would look good with some glow added to it. If this character dies, does his heartbeat lines go flat?

The Daily Sketch: HELLBOY! Three characters so far.

Daily sketch: RASPUTIN from HELLBOY. A collector suggested him as a solution for my blue marker bleed problem. But I think he looks better in black and white.

I did it again. FORGOT A BACKER BOARD! Actually I’ve done this way more than twice over time. You’d think I’d learn my lesson. Y’all gave me some great ideas on the blue problem. Now it’s a green one…

SUPERMAN RED! I enjoyed SUPERMAN BLUE yesterday, and wanted to do the other one. And they’ll look good side-by-side in the portfolio. Watch the video until the end to see if you can spot the mistake I had to correct.

A lot of really good suggestions. I ended up going with SUPERMAN BLUE. I’ve barely ever drawn him, so it seemed like a good choice. Hope everyone agrees.

BLACK CANARY! 9x12 Wanted to see if I could create an illusion of depth by reducing the size of the rings as they went back, as well as them getting slightly darker as they get “farther”away. And I just realized I didn’t leave myself anywhere to sign it.

So, I need a little help…

Just finished redoing the 9x12 portfolio for LEHIGH VALLEY COMIC CON, including the new recent color pieces. For those of you who can’t make it, here’s a peek.

POLARIS! Her powers have been handled so many different ways visually. I wanted to go for the magnetic bands fx. I was going to do her hair green, but I liked the way the white balanced it out.

The Daily Sketch. As I’m putting together the portfolios for my first show of 2026 (late start this year), figured I’d continue the tradition of posting the Daily Sketch one for collectors beforehand. Anyone interested in a piece, message me.
