The #RLCS continues to remind us that you should never count out teams too early! Coming into Open 3, both Geekay Esports and Gen.G seemed like near impossible long shots to qualify for the Birmingham Major. After up-and-down splits, they made miracle runs to secure their spots at LAN. Unreal!!

My Excitement Meter for today’s RLCS matchups in North America!

We knew with the amount of talent in EU that some large fanbase was going to go home disappointed from the first split. Wouldn’t have guessed it’d be Ninjas in Pyjamas, that roster has so much talent. Interested to see if they’ll run it back with the same group in Split 2 and push for Worlds!
