I'm told the regional ICE admin is saying they're just doing the equivalent of "ticketing drivers for going 1 mile over the speed limit" by strictly enforcing immigration laws. Except they don't issue tickets, there's no appeal procedure, and they make people disappear forever.

In 1991 I knew 3 families in Moscow. Each night a dad from 1 and a mom from another went out to the mass protests against the Soviet regime, rotating among the 6 adults. That way they knew the kids would still have at least 1 parent alive if the tanks came. We have no excuse for staying home.
