Christmas Cards! Last week we received a wonderful donation of food from St Catherine's Catholic Primary School that pupils and staff had collected. And they also made these fantastic Christmas cards for some of our clients. We love the caring messages and details in each of them. Thank you 😊

❗Special opening hours❗ Our Burngreave centre will be open today 1-3pm, as a one-off before Christmas. Tomorrow is the final day that our Darnall centre will be open and then the foodbank will be closed until 2nd January.

Donating to the foodbank over the Christmas period? Our foodbank offices will be shut from 23rd Dec, but you can still drop off donations at the foodbank donation points in Tescos. This was a photo from this afternoon at Tesco Extra Savile St, which was overflowing from the generosity of shoppers💚

Yesterday it felt a bit like we were being inundated with donations - in a good way! These are just some of the food donations we received yesterday. We want to say a massive thank you to all of the Schools, Churches, businesses and individuals who have donated. We’re so grateful! 💚

Q: How many people sought help from the foodbank last month? A: 751 people This means that the equivalent of 6,759 meals were provided by the foodbank in November. And more than a third of them were for children. As we are now into the winter, we will need donations more than ever.

📣 Tesco Winter Food Collection update! The totals are in and donations from shoppers at Tesco Savile St and Tesco Ecclesall Rd during our collection at the end of November will provide 7,277 meals to people in need. That's just over 3 tonnes!!! Which is apparently the same as a small elephant 🐘
