Please note that I said AAA titles, not all games. Indie titles will be $40-$60, and you will still see a $60 price point on some games. But when it comes to AAA titles, from AAA developers, expect big prices for big effort.

Newsflash… $60 is not going to cover all of the effort that it took to make the games anymore. With tariffs, excessive sizes, and massive amounts of manpower needed to make these AAA titles, expect $80 to be the norm anymore.

For all those complaining about the Nintendo switch to game prices, you do realize that the credits for Grand Theft Auto V were almost 1 hour long, don’t you? And you think $60 is going to be the price point for Games that take that much effort?
