I just got done reading the core of 'Let's Talk', a solo RPG dialogue supplement by Gerald Ravenpie. While the word choices aren't always perfect, I think the system seems really neat. I tried a little test scenario and it went pretty well.

Oops! I mixed up some RPG days in my head. No stream today because I'm very silly. I'll be picking up Nanaki art on Sunday.

I'm planning a huge overhaul to how my personal website works (namely adding a back-end). Writing design specifications is a little tiring, but I'm also glad to be getting a clearer idea of what I'm trying to make and how it's going to work. With that in mind, am I doing this right?

I discovered the Lambert Lighting (Gamma 2.2) blend mode in Krita and I am using it for everything now. I have a problem. I also discovered bloom and again I'm putting it on everything. Help.

It has been tough, and it's going to be hard for a little while. But I can make it through this scary time and get better.

I did it! It's running as intended on an Ubuntu machine and on my NixOS machine (although the latter relies on nix-ld).

I dedicated most of today toward repeatedly running and re-running my build tools, tweaking at each iteration. I'm trying to package my project into a portable appimage, but I've stumbled into a number of hitches. After so many hours... I think it's time to rest. I can get it tomorrow.

Spent the past two days working on my website, and I'm very satisfied with my progress. I rewrote the home and commissions page and added a convenient method of contact. chion.me

I've been exploring a new style for rendering over these past few weeks, and I'm very happy with it. I'm still developing consistency with this style, but my art feels a lot less flat now, and rendering feels a lot easier and more satisfying.

I tried a confident pose and warm weather cloting. I like how the hands turned out.

I experimented with painting over a clear sheet with acrylic. I had to mix with matte medium to get the paint to stick.

Another practice sketch of unnamed cat gal. She had a little bit if a cry, but she is feeling better now. I feel more confident in this sketch than the one from yesterday; There are a number of improvements here.

Today I pushed through my fears and did a few practice sketches of this cute cat gal (reference on the right by YaraYoka). There are certainly things I would like to do better in future sketches, but I kinda like this one.
