First week of field work with my great helper Justine Crochetière and my also great supervisor Geneviève Lajoie in Abitibi! 🍄🌳

Got the chance to give my first presentation on my project exploring dominant mycorrhizal types and their impacts on the mycobiomes of the sugar maple and eastern hemlock! Still lots of work to go (results-wise) but it was an awesome experience - the CEF family is awesome!

The mood was defiant at many of the rallies, where chants of “Scientists will not be silenced”, “Facts over fear” and “What do we want? Peer review! When do we want it? Now!” were heard. https://go.nature.com/3F8T6FX
