I also wanna say that putting other streamers down might benefit you, but it is bad for your audience. Your audience enjoys other streamers, and whilst you don't have to help other streamers, hurting them hurts your audience. As a streamer, your audience should be your first priority.

I have always hated the idea that vtubers should view each other as competition rather than friends or at least coworkers. A competitive mentality might help you grow, but it will poison your friendships and when the results of that poison get out you will lose everything. Make real friends instead

The misinformation that RFK is putting out about vaccines is dangerous lies that will lead to children dying, but these are old lies. I am more personally offended by his assertions that a world with an increasing number of autistic people would be terrible and we desperately need to prevent it.

I love when my manager tells me not to look away from the camera or fidget with my hands in meetings (these are internal meetings with people I work with every day). Had to explain to him that I'm a prophet of The Way of Autism™️ and telling me to not do that is discrimination.

Creating a list of somewhat well known vtubers, you can add this as a feed to see anything they post. Comment to let me know who to add!

Another useful tip for anyone new: bsky has adult content filters in by default, but you can easily change them in the "moderation" section of settings. It has some neat categorisation, personally I don't mind spicy content but probably want a warning before I see something gorey. I can do that here
