Other than teachers are people still using titles and last names regularly in the western world? I haven’t called someone Mr. or Mrs. in years. Am I just rude?

I think it’s wonderful how simple file sharing is nowadays. For music collaborations it lets us connect globally.

I’m officially a decrepit skeleton. I just saw the youth asking about Aqua Teen Hunger Force in a comment section. Adult Swim was such a fundamental part of my young adulthood.

When I worked at a radio station I had the pleasure of speaking at length with Mr. Mason. May he rest in peace.

I made this in an old apartment using laptop speakers, a 19” inch monitor, a 2015 Mac mini(which I still use), and an avid mbox mini.

The cool thing about us being all interconnected is that we get to see myths about aging and success get debunked. Linking this back to music I love seeing all of the people 30-99+ year olds picking up instruments and finding success. When I started out I felt behind…at 14!

I’ve been having a rough go at things with a part time job. I’m ready to move on but don’t have the next steps in place yet. It’s times like these that I think of the great flood story or Pandora’s box. Sometimes all we’re left with is hope and that is ok ❤️

In my personal life I’m working on not catastrophizing every small inconvenience that pops up. These skills have certainly made life a little more easygoing.

I’ve been playing video games since I was 3 years old and I’m 31 currently. Those sounds have made it into my music and the way I compose.

The term Gen Z stare is a PSYOP I have no evidence to back this up because I’m not a journalist but the term I originally saw floating around was blue light stare. I used it to refer to 18-24 year olds who you can tell were just fried from staring at a tablet their whole life.

Listening to Flea’s new album Honora. Bass is my primary instrument and I grew up in Los Angeles so of course I’m a Flea fan. In addition to the musicianship the mix is killer.

When I started my musical journey I was big into idolizing the greats. As I got older I realized those people weren’t so great and it made music a lot less intimidating. Instead of “I’ll never play like ____” my mindset shifted to “if that POS can do it, so can I”

You ever go back and listen to old tracks and wonder how you came up with a sound? I honestly can’t remember if this has a vinyl sim or is sampled. I was using both techniques around when this instrumental was made.
