#485 is this little piece of #goth #filk wonder from #AurelioVoltaire. As a trekker there’s no way I could leave it off. I’m also fairly certain that Voltaire was the last person I opened for, aside from Lon Milo Duquette who shows up a little later on this list.

Coming in at 486 is Milliontown by British neoprog act #Frost*. There’s one or two stinker songs on here but the 30 minute long closing track more than makes up for any flaws in the rest of the record. Definitely one of my favorite prog records of the past 20 years. #500albums

And at #487 is Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie by #AlanisMorissette. I was way too cool to like Jagged Little Pill but this one actually grabbed me enough to keep listening to it. The first half is almost perfect. #500Records

Coming in at #490 is Mondo Cane by the inimitable #MikePatton, which is a collection of Italian pop songs from the 50s and 60s. I was never a huge fan of Mr Patton’s other work but this one really showed his range. Aside from a few outliers most of these renditions are fairly faithful. #500albums

At 491 is #janesaddiction with Ritual de lo Habitual. Three Days is still a beast and Stop has the best bridge in rock history. Plus Classic Girl is plain amazing. If it weren’t for that stupid been caught stealing song this would have ranked higher. #500albums

Ok going a bit normie for today with #thecranberries debut album at #492 out of #500albums. They would have stayed great if they kept making dream pop music but alas… anyway Dolores had an amazing voice and it fit this record perfectly.
