This is so incredibly sad and infuriating. These individuals are members of our community in South Minneapolis and beyond. They are physicians, nurses, teachers, parents, bus drivers, and friends who have lived up to the American ideal of successfully integrating into our society. Absolute ghouls

Hello just wanted to say: Public media is a useful public good. It is a source of great local news at a time when local news is being decimated. Also, in my 10 years in public media, I can say people who work here do it because they believe in the mission of informing people. Just noting.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined. It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

The ACA was cool because without it, due to a bleeding disorder I was born with and treatments exceeding 1 million a year, I would have no insurance, or would have had to change jobs every 2-3 years. Alternatively, I could have dwindled down my assets and gone on SSI. So yeah, it’s pretty cool.
