Starting to go through the Hugo shortlist for 2025. Starting with Short story today.

This truly sustains communities. There's been a lot of times where I would write a rare pair, even knowing 1-3 people might read it, because those 1-3 people were my friends and I knew they'd be talking to me about it for a while. Please let fanartists/writers know you appreciate them.

It's been 20 years, but I don't think any game has ever nailed the poignancy of sacrifice in war the way Suikoden 1 and 2 do for me. This scene -- and the one between Teo and Tir in Suikoden 1 -- still make me cry.

Since it's around the corner, I made a Tekken Father's Day card. I tried using two separate mechanics at once. This allows Kazuya to move his hands and Heihachi to descend when the card is opened.

Wanted to get an American style fight stick and man, your options are LIMITED. Literally have to build your own, and 90% of the enclosures on the market won’t fit an American collar. Which is a shame because I grew up on the Happ. I’d really love to try a Yankee/euro one. Plus? Comes in lime.
