Xavier Roscoe is definitely one of my favorite side characters in the Shrouded Curses arc of the Grimoire Archive series. He's a member of the Curse Breakers Guild and a "ride-or-die" best friend to one of the MCs. Also, he *may* get a bit more of a moment to shine in a companion book.

#LateNightWrite It varies from character to character to character. For example, Hunter has a very complex relationship with physical affection due to being abused from a young age (not from/because he's ace). Any kind of positive relationship is also difficult for him due to the same reason.
