I hope that a demo of the game will be released soon after TGS. I played Age of Calamity's demo to death before the game was released.

I've been grinding #FireEmblem Shadows a lot. For a Fire Emblem game, you can tell why a lot of people dislike it. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not fun playing Among Us in the style FE converted to real-time. Plus, the mix of Norse and Buddhism/Hinduism is a cool way to lead the story.

One of lesser known facts about Age of Calamity is that while it was not the prequel everyone asked for, it served as an interlude between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Tulin's Sage ability was first teased in AoC, as well as his aspirations to becoming like Revali.

I did a quick audit of how long I have played Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom. Between 3 profiles plus 20 hours of the demo, I have played 505 hours of Age of Calamity. Between 2 profiles, I have played 490 hours of Tears of the Kingdom. Gotta keep that AoC hour count higher than TotK.

A lot of journalists and social media reporters believe that FF7R1 is one of the few games that makes sense as a Game Key Card due to its file size exceeding the Game Card limit. This opinion makes no sense. The reason for Game Cards isn't just for game ownership, but also to save storage space.

The one downside to physical backwards compatibility on the Switch 2 is that you do not get the same performance benefits of a digital Switch 1 game. This is Age of Calamity played on Switch 2 handheld mode, on a Game Card. I am still experiencing some dips in frame rate.

Another double edged sword. I think Nintendo's intentionally doing this because they know that not everyone is able to afford a Switch 2 yet, so they are forcing devs not to abandon the Switch 1. But people bought a Switch 2 for new, Switch 2 exclusive games, not just for enhanced Switch 1 games.

#NintendoSwitch2 accessories are surprisingly rare in Japan. I only found out yesterday that they STILL only offer the Switch 2 Pro Controller as a raffle purchase on Nintendo's website. I can't even find decent carrying cases or screen protectors anywhere either.

Throughout my trip to Japan, I've been increasingly noticing something that has been bugging me since I've arrived. The lack of #Sony. It's not just the everyday person not using Sony products. A lot of tourist places aren't using Sony AV stuff. Is Sony just crazy expensive in Japan?

This isn't really a big deal, but I've noticed a lot of people saying that this is a new change to Mario games, where A would normally be the jump button. Using B as a jump button had existed all the way back in SM64DS as the jump button, and NSMB1 as a toggle between AX/BY and AB/XY.

The more I watch Russ Vandy review different #Minecraft versions, the more disappointed I am at Microsoft. Why is it that consoles were forced into Bedrock Edition, but PC gets to keep Java Edition? What was wrong with 4J's Legacy Console Edition, a game that was properly OPTIMIZED for console?
