30,000 Foreign Scam Suspects Deported In Cambodia Crackdown Cambodia has deported more than 30,000 foreign nationals suspected of involvement in cybercrime syndicates since June last year, Interior Minister Sar Sokha announced on Wednesday. An additional 210,000 foreigners voluntarily depart the kingdom. Sokha, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister, detailed the scale of the ongoing operations. while speaking at an anti-human trafficking forum in Phnom Penh. Ministry of Interior spokesperson Touch Sokhak recently confirmed that the government has set a firm deadline of April 2026 to completely dismantle these criminal networks from the country.
