What my brain has cursed me today: Spend 5 hours comparing DID criteria in the DSM-3, DSM-4, and DSM-5 because I got too upset by how ignorance about DID informs how Blitzwing was treated by the show and how that ignorance extends to fans today.

Liz and Zing designs for reference :] For Liz the main things is that she visualizes herself as already dead. Her windshield is broken from the way Blitzwing died. While for Zing they're like Blitzwing's cyber form but with more animalistic/bug traits mainly: extra wings, tail, muzzle and claws.
