Today is the ninth anniversary of the passing of my father. I have posted this photograph several times before, but it remains my favorite picture of us two. It was taken in Paris, October 3, 2008, so he is 71 here and I am 42. He was a great human being.

LEGO set 6954 Renegade from the very popular Space subtheme Blacktron. This set came out 1987, way after my childhood LEGO days. I acquired it in the 1990s, during my first adult LEGO collector phase, when I was in my 30s. At that time, adults collecting LEGO was very rare compared to today.
