To keep my sanity in check, I always write drafts of my resignation, with reasons like: "As much as I wanted here to stay, I need to beat the inflation as well, and I also have people depend on me." I'd need be honest to myself, and when that time comes, I could just pull it one in my notes.

Tried using ART (a Raw Therapee fork) and it looks promising. Its UI is simpler and easier to understand right off the bat, but I couldn't do the things that I love in Darktable. I might dig a little bit more with it on weekends.

I recently tried Affinity Photo's RAW image processor and its okay. Its fast compared to the slow NXStudio. Its not like Capture One and Darktable when it comes to advanced RAW processing. Having a vectorscope is a big plus for me. Its simple and it works.

I learned how to use Darktable out of spite of that brick company, and I am so amazed how everything worked. I hate the UI by the way, but it works the way (atleast) the way I wanted as a colorist.
