Pupil’s books, particularly at secondary, seem to have morphed into something meaningless to them. They know who the books are *really* for. They don’t ask to take them home to use for homework or revision , and, as Boxer points out, some leadership prefer a Journal of Prettiness.

Controversial take, but I’d be happy teaching KS3 and just Triple Bio forever. The enthusiasm is INSANE. Haven’t taught KS3 for about a decade. I bloody love it. Sure, they’re a little needy and the friendship drama as they get older is hilariously annoying but they *want to be in my lessons* 1/2

Call me a Luddite, but using AI to plan SOW, MTPs and lessons is not something that sits right with me. AI doesn’t have the lived experience of teaching and I feel that’s what’s needed.
