Off for a belated Mother’s Day trip to London courtesy and with Smells. Doing Camden Market and some other bits we’ve never done before. Bloody hard to get there now - 2.5hrs and 2 trains. Use to be under 2hrs and direct. Still paying more though

After lots of worry, given the graduate job market, my girl started her job today (in between finishing uni off). £12k more than I started on; and that’s *exactly* what I wanted for her. I can’t say much about what she’s doing, but it aligns very well with our core values. I am in awe ❤️

If someone had told me I’d end up spending £40k and 4 years training to then spend 15 years (so far) constantly converting lessons from one MAT style to another I would have seriously thought twice. Almost an egregious waste of time as that primary display board nonsense.

Picked up new specs today from specsavers. Honestly can’t fault their service, especially the time their optician spent listening to my wonky eye issue. Trailing baby varifocals and have had a tint out on as wonky eye issue means I’m now light sensitive. Game changer already!!

Royal Mail are quickly becoming the worst delivery service. Two separate parcels they’ve buggered up. Parcel 1 was meant to to go to local PO to collect. They’ve repeatedly tried to deliver with the PO collection sticker on. They even emailed to say it was ready for collection. It wasn’t 1/2
