Supposed to be having the full two weeks off but none of us do that! Spent a lovely couple of quiet hours in my writing room overlooking the sea perusing the PAS database for artefacts to reference in a chapter for my new book. Love the potential of discovering our ancestors stories through finds.

Had the loveliest few days! After Paris, I got to spend Monday hosting Father Christmas and his Reindeer for the kids at the shelter, followed by a Xmas party for the staff and residents kindly catered by my gorgeous husband's incredible restaurant staff.

So very excited to see this! Leeds Womens Aid is the first Shelter I ever did any voluntary work at. So lovely to see this opportunity to involve current and past residents in raising funds and awareness lnkd.in/eGRZ3sPU

During the #FarmGreenDigProject, Brighton YAC members teamed up with local graphic designer Hannah Armstrong (www.hannahdesign.uk/) to create a brand‑new interactive guide to Farm Green.

Quiet Saturday evening after a Christmassy blended family day out

Oh my goodness, just over a year ago I was working on stayaway and picked up lots of gingerbread espresso martini liquor. Well tonight myself and the gorgeous co-mumma have figured how to make a gingerbread martini fizz and not for the first time I question if I picked the wrong divorcee!

So excited tonight! We have ALL the Munchkins home! The Uni cheeky chaps, the GCSE gang, and our littles! All here for the big blended family buffet and viewing of The Muppets Christmas Carol in M's newly refurbished cinema room. I have brought home all the festive flavours of boho gelato ice cream!

We are thrilled to share an update on the Farm Green: The Bevendean Dig Project! As featured in the latest Moulsecoomb and Bevendean Winter Newsletter, Area News, this community excavation was about much more than just dirt and finds—it was about connection, accessibility, and shared history.

What a lovely evening catching up with my ASE girls! Some wonderful reminiscing over Thai food and wine, and fabulous local am-dram of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. How great to have maintained such friendships with former workmates.
