Play at the ATP Challenger in Fujairah, UAE has been canceled for the day because of an oil refinery fire caused by drone attacks. This is absurd. Why they ever continued with this tournament is beyond me. Treating the threat of literal death like it's a rain delay that they hope passes.

The King of the Golden Swing! Luciano Darderi started the year with a 4th round run at the Australian Open. And the Italian has kept that momentum on the South American clay, going from a runner-up finish in Buenos Aires to a title run in Santiago, defeating Yannick Hanfmann, 7-6⁶, 7-5.

Hooked 'Em at Home! After dominating college tennis at UT Austin, Peyton Stearns comes home to collect a title as a pro. The last seed standing gets a scrappy win over first-time WTA singles finalist Taylor Townsend, 7-6⁸, 7-5, to lift her second WTA title at the ATX Open.

On One in Antalya The first "big" WTA claycourt event of the year has crowned it's champion! Moyuka Uchijima slips past former top 30 Anhelina Kalinina, 7-5, 7-5, to score the biggest title of her career so far. The win rockets Uchijima back into the top 100, up 27 spots to #77.

In addition to the Daniil Medvedev, Tallon Griekspoor who've had difficultly leaving Dubai, there's a whole slate of players (including Lloyd Harris and Jason Kubler) who are currently on site for two weeks of back-to-back ATP Challengers in Fujairah, UAE starting Monday.

Cobolli the Conqueror! After flatlining through the first two months of 2026, Flavio Cobolli comes roaring to life in Acapulco. The #5 seed handles Frances Tiafoe, 7-6⁴, 6-4, to claim his 2nd ATP 500 and third overall ATP title. With the win, Cobolli will reach a new high of #15.
