Dreaming up some Make Lab activation ideas. How might I bring invitations to create into this common space? And how do I fund it?

Antique store stroll today. Regretting not getting the beautiful worn quilted scrap. Really, it was $5.

Drawings in progress, watercolor, acrylic ink, and color pencil on Arches watercolor paper. I might collage some of my big folded shape cutouts, but giving myself space to decide later. This process is more calculated and methodical than my usual spontaneous and reactive mark making. #wip #drawing

Starting the week/day with slow stitching. Working on my #destroythisquilt project. I might be about halfway done with the #quilting and I’m both excited and sad to see this project near completion. A year of learning how to translate my mark-making into this soft, comforting, and familiar media.
