I don’t get to play jazz all that often but I’m thankful for the amount of time I spent practicing it in my 20’s. It translates into other areas and took me out of being a strictly pentatonic player. Triads and 7th chord arpeggios, approach notes, playing over each chord individually. Smooth Sailing
