As long as i'm offering RE hot takes, there are parts of the Netflix series I quite liked. I think with a second season it would have blossomed. It also now has added significance since it was one of Lance Reddick's last roles, and he also believed in the show.

Part of me sometimes wonders if maybe the whole Jeopardy crew really did like that Michael Richards guy and thought he was a good choice for host. Maybe he was a great producer on the show and everyone thought he deserved it. Ken is such a good host now that it doesn't often come to mind, but yeah.

I feel so bad for Zach Cregger that this doofus Constantin Film guy is talking like his movie will have no reverence for or inspiration from the games. Cregger is a smart guy and when he has talked about the movie he has mentioned the games and which games it will be inspired by.
