A Letter to the Parents, Guardians, and Students of the Edmonton Public School Division

December 6 marks the anniversary of the 1989 École Polytechnique massacre, where 14 women were singled out and murdered in an attack motivated by the gunman’s hatred of feminism and women. On this day, we remember the women who lost their lives, as well as all victims of gender-based violence.
