This Sunday in Ukraine, families have lost love ones and are looking for survivors after another massive Russian air attack. Pursuing its illegal attack against a European sovereign state, Russia launched hundreds of drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles into Ukrainian cities.

This is the pattern of Russian aggression against Ukraine and its attempt to brake the resistance of Ukrainians and to scare off its supporters through brutal terror.

This is why together Europe, Ukraine, and the USA need to create the conditions for a full and durable ceasefire followed by a just and lasting peace.

Without maximum pressure, Russia sees no incentive to stop the killing. In fact it sees this as its preferred strategy. It needs to know such crimes will be remembered and will not go unpunished.

An unprecedented number of Romanian citizens have voted at home & in the diaspora in the 🇷🇴 presidential elections. More than 1.6 million Romanian citizens voted abroad.

With a record turnout in Romania and in the 965 polling stations abroad the elections represent an unqualified democratic succes. Romania is a vibrant democracy committed to its 🇪🇺 European and Transatlantic values and partnerships.
