#birds A trip west to Ayrshire, Maidens where the Western sandpiper showed itself at close quarters at times,usually on its own ,other times with Ringed plover and Dunlin.

#birds #nature Mallard brood 1 of 5 but with 11 juv was 12 a few days ago.Long tailed tit 10 in a bush before a male Sparrowhawk slammed into it, taking one of the youngsters too fast for photos.Comma butterfly surveying it's space chasing multiple Red admirals, Raven and Kingfisher.
