Next round of the Evangelion movie revival series: Evangelion Q. I’m watching it in the exact same theater, on the very same screen I first watched it back in November 2012. Vividly remember walking away in a speechless daze upon my first viewing, but now it’s probably my fav of the rebuild films.

Went to a gala event with Japanese business leaders and politicians last night, and my boss complimented me on how comfortable I was with talking to strangers. "How did you learn to do that?" they asked. I 100% attribute it to talking about games while working at Gamestop all throughout high school.

I recently got my hands on the official Nintendo Museum official book, and was surprised to see that it contains pics of the prototype hardware that is on display. No pics are allowed in this area, and when I visited a staff member was always nearby to make sure that guests could not take photos.

I’m at a lunch banquet with delegates from the UN and the Japanese government, everyone here is talking about economic security and international trade, and I’m texting my Star Wars group chat under the table about podracing and how old sebulba is in the new Star Wars racing game lol 👍

Facebook tells me that I was at the first showing of Evangelion 3.0 exactly 13 years ago today. Maybe the most abrasive experience I’ve ever had in a movie theater. Remember walking out in a literal daze. However, several years removed from the Rebuild series it’s probably my favorite of the 4 films

Exciting new career update (not really): I now have the title, “Official Evangelion Ambassador”. The “All of Evangelion” exhibit is opening nearby my office this Friday, and since I work nearby the exhibit hall, and my office is a cultural landmark, I was asked to put up fliers in the lobby haha

This past weekend was the twice yearly “Suit Walk” event held in Tokyo. Suit lovers from all over convene, network, have men’s style magazines take our pictures, all while walking through the streets of Tokyo talking about our love of men’s formalwear!
