I fear I am becoming the kind of academic who is less like Hermione Granger and is more like book!Howl Pendragon. I just shouted: “No, banana! What tragedy has just befallen you? And me! My skirt! You smeared it as you tumbled to the ground! Oh, sadness!”

My beloved winged SoundSports stopped working while I was running this morning (just the left side, so I can at least still control my iPod whose control button broke like a decade ago). Then I got home and saw our car has a flat tire. Off to a great start today. 🥲

My husband just asked me how much coffee I've had today (derogatory). The answer is a lot, apparently. 🤔 (I was out of my regular mostly just flavour coffee and drank his caffeine infused caffeine instead this morning...) Whelp, back to work!

I cried a total normal amount at the end of Divergence, there was no sobbing to be seen or heard. 😅 Anyhoo, working on these two, because they also totally didn't make me cry at the end of C3.

I think one of my favourite things about using copics is that you get two versions of every drawing. I've just been slowly filling this book up, but I have no gumption to scan or share the results, so just more wips for now. I hope everyone is doing as okay as they can be. ❤️ #wips #dramioneart

After two months of working every day (for at least an hour) I have finally submitted 32,000 words of garbage to my supervisor. Only 15,000 more terrible words to go. 😩

I started this story at the same time as Light Me Up (along with a third story). It’s about 20 chapters long, 60% written, and I may or may not finish it (or maybe I’ll turn it into something non-fandom related?). It’s technically an AU of LMU, so they both make a lot of nods to each other. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have finally bridged the gap between the last 10 chapters of LMU (which have been written for almost 2 years) and my last update. It’s weird to see the end in sight. Still slow going unfortunately. I’m working with writing fumes and they’re not very potent. 😩 (I get like 15 mins a day).

I have the attention span of a slightly intrigued goldfish right now. Hoping I’ll keep bouncing around long enough until I get my work done. 😑

I did too much writing today, so I took a CR and drawing break. Of course I had to try and draw lace because how is a challenge not relaxing? 😅 I think I need to buy some periwinkle colour copics, but I worry that every single Hermione I draw will be in periwinkle if I do. #wip #dramioneart

Today I thought I could finally conquer the chapter I am working on, but my brain said NOPE. Instead, it wanted to join the bandwagon of brilliant constellation!Dracos. I guess tomorrow will be filled with panic writing. Maybe one day I will plug in my scanner and upload all my stress drawings...

Today I went out, did a bunch of things, and came back home, only to realize that I had unintentionally matched my lipstick to my purple scarf. (Or I guess picked a scarf that matched my lipstick). Crochet is a dangerous hobby my friends. It makes you coordinate in interesting and exciting ways. 😅

Today’s colouring break was going to be a bit smuttier than this, but I forgot not to add clothes and just blindly followed the drawing reference. 😩 Oh well, I drew a bum. (This is not the same drawing as the one with the socks 🙃)

I tried to do a bit of work on LMU this morning before I got ready for the day (part of my normal routine). However, my thumb kept hitting “f” instead of “g”, so I gave up. Adventures in writing. 😩

Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope you all had a good NYE! I spent part of my evening setting up my bullet journal and watching the Critmas special. :) This will be my 4th year with a CR theme, but it's the 1st time I've featured VM. I felt like a battle-ready Keyleth for January might make things better.

Setting up a new bullet journal (on the left) and decided to redo my Keyfish drawing (because the original Dutch window was a big old fail). 3.5 years apart, same materials, very different paper (which apparently does not like my white pens). Which do you like better?

I did a bit of colouring last night, but I decided that I didn't like Draco's face, so now she's hugging a ghost? Also, absolutely no way to get into that position without it looking awkward, but who am I to judge the photo reference? Will I finish this? #dhrart #dramioneart #dramione

One would think that after having to type the word “Sovereign” many times in my writing over the past few years I would learn how to spell it. Alas, spell check turns red every time. 😩

I took a break and drew a thing! (I used my Copics for the first time in over a year!) It needs some scanning and photoshop work (their faces look so messy). Maybe I'll get around to that at some point. It's so nice to have a place to share wips again! :D #dramione #dhr #dhrart #dramioneart

I’m really not looking forward to pulling 14 years worth of notes off of Evernote, but needs must I suppose. (There is no way I am paying $139.99 per year to keep using it). 🤬😤

I worked for 5.5 hours today and wrote 4,500 words. Totally going to finish two chapters before Xmas. 😭
