SECRET BEYOND THE DOOR... : Watching Lang's spatial mise-en-scene is the equivalent of watching the perfect chess game, where all moves move towards a draw, and when there are only kings on the board, there is only the absolute, the most naked and the most secret emotion.

2025 opens with Monte Hellman’s IGUANA. So violent, direct yet sad. Probably his best film.
