Excellent talk this afternoon by Dr Rebecca Ebenhoch (Boehringer Ingelheim) on the power of cEM to enable structure-based drug design for membrane targets.

A new day of knowledge has officially begun with the first talk of the day: Dr Matthew Woll (PTC Therapeutics) on Therapeutic Splice Modifiers.

Great science this afternoon at EFMC-ASMC 2025! Dr Thomas Cummins (BMS) presented exciting work on a first-in-class molecular glue degrader for sickle cell disease, followed by Dr Emanuela Berrino (CEA Paris-Saclay) with excellent insights into fluorescent nanoparticles for multiplexed immunoassays.

A strong start to Day 2 of EFMC-ASMC 2025! Prof. Dirk Trauner (UPenn) opened the morning with excellent insights into photopharmacology, followed by essencial work from Dr Luke Ashcraft (Cytokinetics) on novel cardiac myosin inhibitors for HFpEF.

Fantastic session with Prof. Annemieke Madder (UGent) presenting an excellent perspective on the power of large peptides and “gigantic” bioconjugates in targeted therapy.

Great keynote by Prof. Paolo Melchiorre (University of Bologna) on The Synergy of Light, Organocatalysis & Enzymes.

First talk of the day: Prof. Helma Wennemers (ETH Zurich) on Asymmetric Peptide Catalysis.
