The earliest known cat door, located at Exeter Cathedral in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧, dates from around 1598 AD. The owners of the cats were paid a penny a week as early as 1305 AD, to help control mice and protect the cathedral from pests. #archaeohistories

'Dandelions,' was painted by the Danish artist Bertha Wegmann around 1910. It wasn't an arbitrary choice of a plant to paint: the dandelion was used to promote the women’s liberation movement in Scandinavia because of its capacity for uncontrolled, strong-willed growth.

Have come to the conclusion that art galleries need to open on particular days for selfies, and on other days for those who want to look at the art - regardless it was a lovely trip to the #Mauritshuis, and while Girl with a Pearl Evening was in huge photo demand, I was here for all the rest...

Food security should be taken much more seriously, we need to build resilience, especially in such uncertain times, the UK is an island, if our option to import food is cut off, due to climate change, trade wars, military action etc. then we would be really scunnered!
