Globally, one in every five people either lives in wholly inadequate housing or has no home at all. It doesn't have to be this way. We know #homelessness can be ended. We even know how to end it. But it will take all of us to actually end it.

"We understand that stable housing and employment is the foundation for a successful re-entry into society." In Mississippi, Depaul USA's ROOTS Program supports women exiting prison, providing them with housing, financial skills workshops and employment support. #IWD25

Over 1.1 billion people currently live in slums or slum-like conditions. This is expected to grow to 2 billion people over the next 30 years. Through global collaboration, a future where everyone, across the world, can wake up to safer homes and access to clean water is possible.
