We've had no shortage of sun in Lancaster these last few weeks! 🌞 (It must be breaking some kind of record...) It's wonderful to see so many of our students enjoying campus this spring 💐

Visited this lovely store in Lancaster today & saw the whole point of their policy to have people on the tills, not machines. Time taken with customers, gentle and warm chat between those on the tills & those shopping- not ‘how things were’, but how things are for Booths & how they can be for more.

Fine day at Biggleswade Utd, despite Storm Bert. Entertaining first half- decent football from both Utd and Winslow despite the conditions.

Responding to reports the US has allowed Ukraine to strike Russia with long-range missiles, the Kremlin accuses the Biden administration of “adding fuel to the fire." Western leaders would argue it's Russia ‘adding the fuel’ by deploying N.Korean troops to war zone & continuing to attack Ukraine.

Surprised &not at all pleased to see this. The relationship between UK and Europe matters, & the debate about it in the media is so polarized and superficial that the kind of input @ukandeu.bsky.social provides is sorely needed. All best wishes to the team. Thank you for publishing some of my work.
