These aren't my tattoos! They belong to Ivan Verite, who posted them on Reddit. He's a history buff, as well as a big fan of my music and Civ. And when he heard "Live Gloriously" with its lyrics taken from The Iliad, he had them tattooed, along with the Egyptian gods Thoth and Anubis. Badass!

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the death of the great Giacomo Puccini. His final opera Turandot was left incomplete at his death, which was a great loss for the opera world... however it did open up the opportunity for many composers over the last century to try their hand at completing it.
