Being optimistic about United each matchday is beginning to feel like the whole "stopped clock is right twice a day" saying. Except it's now a 24 hour clock so we're right to be optimistic even less than before.

Romans whose writing we have from the 4th-6th centuries AD didn't really know they were living through the fall of the Roman Empire in the west. A new emperor might fix things. If somebody can just get a handle on those dang barbarians, everything will be fine. Now, about that party next week...

Another school year done here in Ontario, congrats to all the teachers and enjoy the break. On a personal note I hope both my kids have excellent teachers and minimal disruptions to learning for the new cycle starting September. You only get to be a small child once, and they deserve the best.

Got a good physical/audio duo going on. One is the very epitome of a doorstopper Fantasy book, the other a physics primer that actually has me lol-ing.

I just bought some absolutely gorgeous cherry tomatoes grown right here in Ontario. 🍅 If nothing else I am much more sensible about where the produce I buy for my family comes from these days, for reasons both political and environmental, so I guess that's a silver lining.

Don’t see it happening now. Credit to PSG, it’s not often these days you see a team play where they all seem to have such a clear idea of what they want to do with the ball in every possible location on the pitch. Inter looking shell-shocked.

for me so far but plenty can still happen, particularly if Inter can scrounge a goal somehow and rattle PSG in the slightest.
