Turns out no feature is a small thing. Reverted in the latest release, back to the drawing board.

My favorite thing is comparing funding levels to various job positions. Right now, I’m about on par with a Wendy’s cashier.

It’s about 12,000,000 times every month now. And still so early.

Like my grandma says: “A dollar a day keeps the VCs away.”

This looks simple, but it’s the result of two years of research. Try any other generator, and you’ll know what I mean.

I have tried many OpenAPI -> SDK solutions, and Hey API has the best DX among them: the best client request options shape, the easiest setup, and it just works out of the box.

🚨 BREAKING: Developers are projected to download packages from Hey API, used by @vercel.com and OpenCode, at least 3 million times per week, per npm.

Always grateful for people like @alexanderkaran.bsky.social who are able to appreciate the level of effort that goes into making something that Just Works™.

Hey API for all my future React TanStack Query projects.

Other open-source generators might have more plugins or stars on GitHub, but only @heyapi.dev can build the @cloudflare.social SDK fast and correctly.

I’m happy to report I’m no longer the most knowledgeable person when it comes to algorithmic optimizations. This also marks the first time Hey API paid a contributor, which I’m equally excited about. This will be a regular occurrence as more funding comes in.

Yuri does a better job than I do at promoting Hey API for backend development. OpenAPI + Fastify + Hey API.
