I feel like we are in a semi renaissance of classic universal monsters being reinterpreted and reintroduced in the modern age. This year alone we’re getting Werwulf, The Bride, and Lee Cronin’s The Mummy. And last year we had a fresh adaptation of Frankenstein by GDT.

As much as I like Frank Darabont’s version, I’m very interested to see what Mike brings to the table. This would be the third time (forth if you count the finale of It Welcome to Derry chapter 1) that this story has been adapted.
