Another question for that experimental social VR game is should every player all inhabit the same world? Or have the option to make your own world and share it with a large group of people to play? How could you make that diegetic?

Social VR game where a part of the social aspect is figuring out how anything works with the help of others. No UI, everything is diegetic. Your avatar works almost like Lego, want to talk? Need to find a mouth first. Building and currency systems so players could naturally make a working town.

Gamers are so insufferable sometimes. Like does not being able to kill giant sea monsters with a knife ruin all of Subnautica 2? That’s what makes the game bad?

I watched a play-through of Directive 8040 and it’s a shame how much they fumbled the base concept. They do the least interesting thing possibl, also I feel this game would have worked better as a psychological horror rather than an action one. I will say the twist is pretty good.

I have an idea for an app game where you’d take and develop photos In a virtual environment! So you’d move your phone around to line up the photo, and once you take it you’d have to perform chemical processes to develop the photo to your liking, taking a day in real time or so.
