This year's @appam.bsky.social Fall Research Conference in Seattle was great! Enjoyed catching up with friends and colleagues, and received valuable feedback on my work-in-progress. Especially in these chaotic times, great hanging out with researchers focused on improving public policy.

There is so much to be thankful for, what did we miss?

APPAM is always special for me because it brings together so many Korean policy scholars. This year felt extra meaningful with both the current and incoming KAPS presidents showing up to support the community.

From National Harbor to Seattle, from the Great Wheel to Space Needle #2025APPAM, very grateful to present my work on STEM Education with Professor @joshua-goodman.com, learned so much from scholars with cross-field insights. Encouraged me to rethink the ways policy drive meaningful social change!

#APPAM2025 is a great experience. So many smart, insightful researchers in a very supportive environment. I was at the PhD/Career Fair. Amazing how much time senior folks took to talk with prospective students and graduates. Check out cool research like this.

I have to say: @appam.bsky.social, I did not know how cool you are. The sessions I attended (mostly on disability policy) were collaborative and nicely put together. Discussant comments were insightful and helpful. And as a qualitative sociologist, I felt welcomed in an interdisciplinary space.

#2025APPAM was amazing! Got great insights on my paper and loved catching up with friends. @appam.bsky.social is extra special - I’ve been lucky to grow with this community, from E&I fellow to student ambassador to receiving an Ascendium grant this year. Next year it’s in Boston, welcome to my city!
