Results from MRI: "surgery is definitely the best option. However we don't know how long it will be until we can do it."

Sitting here just finished the MRI, I need to remind myself... It's ok to be scared. It's OK to be anxious and afraid and have human feelings. It's how we react to our emotions that define us.

Applying for jobs. The hospital that saved my life, and is going to save it again, puts up a job in my exact field. The speed I jumped on that application and hunted down people to discuss it with is unfathomable.

Hospital forgot to schedule an MRI (at all) until I called to say "hey, I was told this was 'drop everything when you get the appointment' urgent so what happened?" Turns out... Doctors had leave booked and I slipped through the gaps. Be willing to advocate for yourself. But also be compassionate.

The thing I mentioned about processing? "your brain tumour returned, the best course of action is surgery but we need another MRI to see how risky it will be" This at least explains the massive increase in headaches, but I'm sorry streams have been very sparse.

Thought for a cursed competition: Instead of "AI pretending to create human art". What if Humans created fake AI generated images? Real artists just sitting down, with real physical media, and made "... Did an AI make this?" art. The winner will be whoever feels the most shame.
