The latest report on the UK by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) has commended our approach to LGBT Inclusive Education. 💬 “ECRI considers the embedding of LGBT inclusive education in schools in Scotland, including with the help of specialised NGOs, a good practice.”

I was working with some student teachers this week and I talked about the idea of sticking with your values and subverting from within the system. I do believe it's possible and that we move forwards incrementally. Progress is slow for sure but also inevitable, even when we temporarily drop back.

PGDE Day 13 What. A. Blast. Experiencing the expressive arts was both in and a challenge to my comfort zone. different pedagogical approaches - most of which resonated and some that didn’t. All going to inform who I want to be as a teacher and how I want children to feel in the same situations.

Expressive arts is not my strong point however, I can walk away from today with a lot more confidence and recognising how creative I can actually be! 🎨🎭🖼️ Really interesting exploring expressive arts role in the curriculum and like with everything… how it is all interlinked! #UoEPDGEp #MorayHouse
