Shoutout to when you realized Jurassic Park is too controversial to be made today because a major plot point (*spoiler!*) hinges on Transgender Dinosaurs.

What blows me away about racists is that they think USA should be whites-only. Let me say it again USA IS A NATION OF IMMIGRANTS. THAT IS HOW IT WORKS, HOW IT'S ALWAYS WORKED. People of all colors and creeds, coming here to make community. 1/2

Rewatching āHouseā. Great show. But, they never did follow up on the crushing medical bills for all of these interventions House and his team devised. One kid had seven different diagnoses ending with direct interferon injection to his brain that would total in the millions.

If you can start the day without caffeine or pep pills, If you can be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains, If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles, If you can eat the same food everyday and be grateful for it, 1/3

A truly extraordinary thing happened recently. 14 years ago I received an email from a person who worked on a music video for my band back in 1998. He was looking for a copy, found my info on the web and decided to roll the dice. 1/4

Hey everyone, I've started a substack for my silly ideas and observations. Check out my NYC Producer's Log adventure, now with pictures! I'm still figuring out how to balance long-form and short-form content on threads/bluesky and now substack. At least the ride will be fun!

Next casualty of AI video: Movie Trailers. We just spent time picking through an āofficial 2025 trailersā search on YouTube to find the real ones. The fakes were hilarious, but it made any channel suspect that wasnāt an official studio.

The Matrix is trending. I saw it in the theaters and we said it was the first movie of the 21st century. When the 2nd one came out we spent hours debating the themes and ideas. When the 3rd came out I sadly saw all those ideas washed away by action. What trip it all was.

Itās night. Iām driving on the highway. Three lanes expands to six and I gently merge my way to the right. My exit lane materializes with a car already in it. The car is the mini SUV type, a dark shade of color reflecting the high lamps that illuminate above us. I slow down. 1/7

I adored and absorbed everything 'Peanuts', Snoopy and Charlie Brown when I was a kid. When I got older and gained some sense of detachment from the flow of my life, I realized how filled with existential dread and depression the 'Peanuts' comics were. 1/2
