With the bubble bursting and RAM prices potentially coming back down, don't forget that Micron/Crucial and Nvidia threw consumers under the bus in favor of AI data centers. Maybe shop other brands. Just saying.

Apologies for being pretty quiet on the art front. Life events have left me with a lack of creativity, inspiration, and drive lately.

The best defense I've seen of DLSS5 is that "artists have full control of the input." This means nothing. I have full control of my toilet's input and the output is always sewage.

Idea for a new invention: a light for your car you can turn on and off that tells other drivers which direction you intend to turn.

Rust is such an interesting niche game. I watch videos, knowing full well what goes into it, and it makes me want to play again. I reinstall the game, play for an hour and never want to open it again. Repeat every major update cycle.

As much as I want the win for human rights, this is a big nothingburger. AI generated content is still copyrightable as long as there has been human intervention. What does that entail? No idea. How can you distinguish the two from an outside perspective? You can't. Not an enforceable law.
