Seeing Destiny 2 getting put into maintenance mode dredged up some memories for me... In 2014, hope was at its peak. Everyone just KNEW that this game coming out must be truly incredible to cause Bungie inexplicably hand over its golden child to focus on creating THIS (1/?)

Its always funny to me that the Accursed Hoard and Carrot Achievements get the lions share of the spotlight when it comes to people talking about crazy FFXIV Achievements They are a *distant* second place to the real final boss of FFXIV cheevs in terms of time spent (And I dont mean levequests!)

Some pics from NPCNL's traditional full-blind 24-man raid for Windhurst, the Third Walk! Glamours were on-point this time once again, and our Alliance A even committed to the bit with all DPS playing MNK lol. It was a great time!

Feelings seem pretty mixed about the evolved jobs shown in the dev panel. IMO DRG and BRD they showed looked extremely cool, I think they're on the right track. WHM I understand why some are reserved, but i think to showcase their vision they need a fight properly designed for the job (1/2)

Its really unfortunate that Cosmic Exploration and Ultimate are releasing at the same time-i wont be able to make my normal early-grind content for Auxesia this time around. Ill be releasing an overall points grinding video though afterward, so you guys can look forward to that!

My takeaways from the keynote: - Evercold Hype - Cross DC PF pog - Evangelion WTF (seriously wtf??) - Jobs TBD, tho ive been saying we need a split like this for years I am cautiously optimistic overall, saw a lot of good things but we need to see execution

More and more lately I feel like the Age of MMORPGs is coming to an end. So many new projects cancelled/turning out to be giant scams, people stepping away from existing ones and moving to other stuff, etc. I admit my scope is pretty narrow, i don't play a ton of them, but (1/?)

Finally achieved a long-term goal of mine, one I've had ever since I began achievement hunting in FFXIV-Rank 1 on my home world!

I feel very similarly in some ways but rather than being unable to keep my cool instead my brain just goes full despair mode and it bothers me until i make some sort of correction/acknowledgement lmao

The Diadem Achievement arc is nearly over! Once this finishes up (im hoping today) it's on to the Ishgardian Restoration Crafting Achievements, which will not be nearly as rough lol

a few weeks ago, a friend and i made a bet We each wagered 10 Fortune Carrots that we could finish our respective current XIV grinds before the other. I had Diadem, she had Eureka relics. I think both of us underestimated the tasks before us But man have i been able to laser focus on it LOL

I love Final Fantasy XIV, and I want to see it succeed immensely. I really hope we have big changes in store for 8.0. I think the dev team is going to need to surprise a lot of people to do what needs to be done. (in my humble opinion)

Sorry i didnt do a post earlier, was a long week-NPCNL placed 36th on the official standings, we were probably closer to 70th ish overall (hard to tell exactly). This was the first team that I was raid lead for, and there were some stressful moments for sure. BUT in the end its my best finish yet

Finished Metroid Prime 4 this week, and OOF My opinion: It was a weird, bad story with weird, hamfisted characters and a weird, bad ending big swing and miss, Nintendo.

Something my team figured out about Ecliptic Stampede in M11-the tethers are not actually random The reason tanks always seem to get them is because the tethers choose one random person in each tower. Since the tanks are alone in theirs, they always get them This lets you make assigned baiters

My team has lost *AT LEAST* 3 kill pulls of M11s to disconnects. Crazy. :(

Got this lovely DM this morning while i was playing some chill duo CC, it was pretty early because im adjusting my sched for Savage. We matched up in queue a bunch, they were solo. This is a known player some NA in pvp circles lol, classic "FFXIV Community Be Normal Challenge: Impossible"

Finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 last night. I didn't jive well with the story, but that's a me thing i think, and anyone who does will have one of the best video games they've ever played on their hands, in my opinion. The game is hella fun, even ignoring the story. I recommend!
