Beautiful morning for a walk. I wonder what this forest looked like 100, 200, 300, 200,000 thousand years ago. They say Florida was bigger and drier 200,000 years ago, with mastodons, sabertooth cats, and giant armadillos. Happy Friday.

What happened here in Central Florida was a line of thunderstorms and high winds came through last night followed by cold air. Had the horses high, galloping around all night. It was 39° this morning and now at 9am it's 43° feels like 37°. There was evidence of those winds on our walk this morning.

Yesterday I was walking in shorts and today I am wearing layers and insulated leather gloves! What happened? Well, the sun is out again. 🌞

Good day yesterday. Planted some flowers. Rain 🌧 today. I hope it will end by afternoon so I can go get hay and feed. Poor sleep last night and nightmares in the few hours I did sleep. Worries. Real or imagined? Impeach the crazy guy destroying the world. I guess destroying us wasn't enough.

Beautiful day in Florida, but it's in the 50s with wind, and will go down to 30 tonight. Three layer day. But no snow. Lucky. May all experiencing the storm north of here stay warm and safe.

Drizzle and wind accompanied us on our walk today, and we shall have two more freezing nights, the tail end of the big storm to our north. We lost an old friend during the previous storm, an oak that stood vigil here long before we arrived. We look forward to spring.

It's turning green here. Wonderful weather today, perfect for a walk in the woods.

Ten months after my son Sean's death I'm beginning to feel like myself again. I have painfully learned so much in this time. He gave me so much in his life and death. I'm feeling happiness and joy again from time to time. More stable. I am healing but I miss him more each day. Gratitude and love.

So now I finally get it. Freedom in Amerca is another word for "nothing else to lose"

Feeling out of sorts today. Is it because Sparkles woke me to go out at 2:58 am and I couldn't go back to sleep, or is it the eclipse tomorrow that some suggest will bring the dissolution of illusion and a period of change? Or both? Or just me?

Saw a coyote in the woods on yesterday's walk. Sparkle insisted on showing me. She knew he was there and took me down a short path toward the dry pond. We saw him running away across the dry pond into the other side of the forest. Too fast for a picture, but here we are earlier.

Not sure who needs to hear this but the voter fraud rate is a mere 0.000003%. Anyone telling you otherwise is making shit up so they can take away your right to vote.
