We got a wee bit of rain today, almost 2”. I’m so glad, we’ve needed it. Meena takes her job seriously and patrols even in the worst downpours

Included with this model human, the ability to make some skittish sheep a pet, and the ability to feed 3 lambs single handedly. But that’s about it…nothing else skillful about this human lol.

Mom just can’t seem to feed him enough, so I’ve pretty much taken over his meals. I’d rather feed him fully w/ bottle vs having him hungry.

Meena is getting lightly walked a couple times a day now that her heartworm treatment has started. Other than an upset tummy, and being slower/wanting to sleep more, she’s definitely ok 🤞🏼

To add to our week, Meena our LGD went in for her yearly check up and came up heartworm and Lyme positive. Even with monthly treatment, she’s positive. ☹️ She starts treatment next Monday 🤞🏼

So Monday we had the vet out to help two twin rams with their entropian problem. (Lower eyelids curled in and rubbing the eyeball. In just a week from when I noticed their eyes weeping, to the vet out major ulcers formed.

We finally got some rain. 2.38” of it. At least with the ground being so dry most of the rain left so not much ponding to deal with. Grass has already brightened up.

Helped this 8.7# ewe lamb out of her mum this morning. Already up and nursing and sturdy as can be!

We did sheepdog demos at The Fronter Culture museum in Staunton VA today!
