. It's about how one of Israel's biggest companies, with deep ties to the IDF and illegal settlements, is taking over huge swathes of US real estateāwith tenants paying the price. A MUST-read.

first it's pensions, then it's healthcare, then vacation, finally it's the wages, pretty soon you're just going to one box to work all day for no money and going to another to get the rest of snap to eat, which sounds a lot like how they described the soviet union to me in the 80s but what do i know

We know this because he told us. The reality is the government was shut down the first day Trump entered office. We just didn't talk about it that way. The only real leverage Dems had is on appropriations. Schumer screwed that up in February/March for FY 26. It imperiled his political support.

The coordinated nature of thisānone are facing voters in 2026āmeans that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it. Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
