Another bullshit day at work. 2 customers consumed the first four hours of my day and then bought nothing. Plus I read the schedule wrong and was two hours late so this whole day has been an exercise in frustration.

I was sober for eight glorious months last year, then my world collapsed and so did my sobriety. I’m booze-free for five days now. I’m a mess and my finances are in shambles, but I’m still here.

Had a phone interview today while at work for position that’s open. Not at all convinced I stand a chance (+ I lowkey hate this place) but Imma take the damn job if it’s offered.

Rough few days, but I’m at work & feel like I’m slowly emerging from the funk. It’s my own damn fault. Making bad decisions & dealing with the unfortunate consequences is very…adult of me 😒 Look kinda cute today, though 😉

Trying to encourage a new friendship with another busy person can be extremely challenging. Both of us work long hours and weekends, but I wonder if all the effort (texting mostly) with almost no return is worth it. I’m tired ya know? Would be great if it was just….easy.

Work is weird. Hemorrhaging employees right now. One of our managers resigned at midnight via email to HR. No notice 🤦🏻‍♂️. This could lead to more opportunities for ya boy, but damn it feels kinda crazy. My new manager seems stressed af about it all. Bless him.

I’m so glad I got to grow up in South Florida bc in Alabama I was never going to get an education about Latino culture. In south Florida everyone is either slightly Jewish or Latino due to proximity to both. My white friends from Florida all understand my Latino jokes and that’s amazing.
